In this letter to the State Legislature, CBC President Diana Fortuna urges state lawmakers to return for a special session on July 16 to enact sensible congestion pricing in Manhattan, enact stronger and better public authorities law, and loosen the overly binding and costly provisions of the Wicks law.
This letter conveys the CBC's recommendations for legislative action on the fiscal year 1998-1999 Executive Budget. While the CBC endorses seven of the Governor's proposals, the CBC also urges the State Legislature to make four changes to the Executive Budget.
